Fall 2026 Update

Over the last few months, I've been working to get everything on the back end buttoned up. When Book 2, The Man Who Fell Through Shadow, is finished being edited, all I'll have to do is upload it and open it for preorder. That has gone smoothly so far, so I'm now turning my attention to the social side of being an author. I'm not very active on social media, so I plan to focus on this website and Goodreads for small updates. At the very least, it shows I'm making an effort to reach readers.

Speaking of Goodreads, I recently ran a giveaway for 100 copies of Dana Lake and received more than 600 entries. I'm very excited to hear from new readers!

I have a few ideas for Book 3 that I'm mulling over, but I suspect I'll revisit some unfinished projects before starting something completely new.

A small group of people, mostly friends and family, have been asking about Dana Lake 2. If you're a reader I don't know who's wondering about a sequel, I want to assure you that it's coming, but please don't expect it any time soon. As you'll see in The Man Who Fell Through Shadow, the Dana Lake universe is slowly growing and expanding, and I'd like to establish a larger footprint for it before releasing the direct follow-up to Dana Lake. If you're curious, though, I can share that it's about 25% written and I have an idea for how to end it.

My original vision for Dana's story was a trilogy, and making that happen is a real dream of mine. Hopefully, one day it will.
